The purpose of this Pressure Leakage Test method is to ensure the air tightness of the ductwork, identify areas where air is escaping from the ductwork, allowing for necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure the duct system is sealed and functioning as designed, ensuring that desired indoor air quality and thermal comfort are achieved, while also protecting against potential contamination from external air.
